Inca Trail - 2 Days / 1 Night

DAY 1: CUSCO - KM 104 – CHACHABAMBA - WIÑAY WAYNA - INTIPUNKU - AGUAS CALIENTES

Pick-up from the hotel will be at approximately 5:00 a.m. We will transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station and board the train that will take us to Kilometer 104, where we will begin our hike along the Inca Trail.

You will begin your journey with a section similar to the classic Inca Trail, stopping at the first archaeological complex, Chachabamba, which used to be a lookout post for those who ventured onto the Inca Trail. From here, the real hike will begin for another three hours until you reach the Wiñay Wayna complex, a site that amazes most visitors with its impressive architecture. You will explore all its features, from a ritual water fountain to temples that pay homage to natural forces and agricultural terraces that blend in with the mountains.

A little further on, you will arrive at one of the camps on the classic Inca Trail, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch while you relax and recharge your batteries.

Next, we will continue the hike to the Sun Gate, where you will have your first views of the impressive citadel of Machu Picchu. You will not enter the citadel, but will pass by it and head towards the exit to take the bus to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will be given your assigned hotel accommodation, then enjoy a delicious dinner and rest up for an early start the next day.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO

In the morning, we will head to the bus station to take the tourist bus to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary (a 400-meter climb along a zigzag road). After 30 minutes, we will arrive at the incredible wonder of the world, Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.

Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, we will show our entrance tickets and then begin the tour of Machu Picchu, which lasts more than two hours throughout the Inca citadel. We will visit the main sites of Machu Picchu.

After the guided tour, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch (lunch is not included). After lunch, we will take a train back to Ollantaytambo, where we will be waiting to take you to the city of Cusco.

Prices are based on double, matrimonial, or triple occupancy. Guests who wish to stay in a single (individual) room must pay the corresponding difference according to the selected hotel category.
Children between the ages of 3 and 17 are eligible for discounts; please consult our reservations department.
Children aged 0 to 2 years do not pay, provided they share services with their parents.
To enter the Waynapicchu circuit, reservations must be made 3 to 4 months in advance. The ticket costs 210 soles (optional).
This tour package is flexible. At the client’s request, both the itinerary and the hotel can be modified, which will require a new quotation. You may also request a quote for a private tour service if preferred.
